In order to get the best out of our artists, we aim for a stimulating but unstressful and tranquil recording experience. We have therefore developed our recording facility in a stunningly beautiful but isolated location, rich in wildlife and scenery. We produce dance, indie, R and B, folk, classical, plus a wide variety of sound products such as effects. Our audio technology, which can be viewed via this link, is at the cutting edge of sound evolution, and we focus on the technical and creative, aiming to give you an exciting commercial product at the end of the day, rather than empty flattery and a glamour experience! We work intensively, always looking at the organic development of the artist. Voice recording, therefore, is combined with information about vocal and microphone technique, and recording studio artists are given a real insight and input into the development process. Non-recording visitors may wish to participate in sessions or to spend their time walking, cycling, photographing, birdwatching, sightseeing, reading, playing computer games, watching television or working their way through our extensive collection of studio CDs.

The Beehouse is a reflection of extreme creativity fused with commercial objectives. Our output ranges from simple creative development of our customers' musical ideas to the full composition of music, songs, clips, background atmospheria. We can provide additional sounds on a variety of media, from natural sounds to musical, from simple drumbeats to orchestral arrangements, lorries parking, or the crashing of a very real ocean.  Practically speaking.... for singers, we can provide backing tracks tailored for pitch and style....for musicians, the tasty and atmospheric instrumental edits needed to enhance your original recording. We achieve this by the most advanced midi, synth and sequencer programming to produce a totally authentic and exciting product, shaped exactly to customers' original ideas.  As well as ordinary musical productions we also handle theatrical requirements, sound effects and backing soundscapes.

The Beehouse offers two full-time studio engineers as well as a number of part-time employees. Because of the depth and dedication of our studio staff, we can offer to budding performers a level of skill and expertise in musical development and arrangement, from folk to dance and from rock to R&B. Bring us your musical ideas and we will work with you to add harmonies, arrange it, and bring it confidently into an immaculate, imaginative and commercial product.
